THE MEANING OF HANDMADE

The deep meaning of handmade

This is, without a doubt, one of the most transcendental moments of the artisanal process.

At Corso, each piece is born from the profound inspiration that arises from the unexpected: the subtlety of a landscape, the nuances of a journey, an unforgettable experience or memory. These images travel from the creator's mind to our workshop, where the materials—leather, wood, silver, gold, or precious gems—come to life, acting as a catalyst with their texture, weight, and resonance.

From these ideas and sensations, the first sketches are born: traces of life that begin their evolution, each exploring different perspectives. They become a concept, the creation of a jewel that embodies history, detail, and emotion.

The art of molding

In this phase, the modelers emerge, true metal sculptors, skilled goldsmiths who hand-sculpt, fold, and fuse to give the piece a unique shape. Their work also imparts a lively, sophisticated texture that seems to breathe to the touch, giving it a soul that can only be born from a carefully crafted alloy.

Every groove, every stroke, and every polish bears the hallmark of a technique that blends age-old precision with creative freedom, honoring both the material and the process.

The leather pieces come from animals that have completed their life cycle, as an act of respect and gratitude toward nature. Each piece expresses strength and authenticity, reviving the ancient tradition of carrying the spirit and wisdom of the animal.

A NEW ERA OF NATURAL LEATHERS

From masterpiece to production

Once the designer completes their prototype, the delicate and rigorous production phase begins. Here, each piece undergoes an initial fusion, an alloying process, and is then coated with the desired finish: rhodium, gold, or another precious metal. This entire process concludes with manual assembly, piece by piece.

And it doesn't end there. Each piece of jewelry undergoes meticulous quality controls, ensuring its durability and nobility. Nothing leaves Corso without meeting the most demanding standards, because each creation must endure as a jewel and as a story of authenticity.
