CREATIVE DIRECTOR OF CORSO JEWELRY

From his hometown of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, Samuel began to develop a deep inspiration and love for design from an early age, influenced by his family's work in interior design. In this environment, Samuel cultivated his fascination with architecture, materials, and design, elements that defined and shaped his professional career. This passion led him to study design and architecture in Italy, where he specialized in fine arts, painting, drawing, sculpture, and jewelry making. In 2008, at the age of 17, he decided to start his own project with the jewelry brand "Corso" while pursuing his university studies. Thus, he began a life project that he has continued to develop with dedication and commitment.

The origin of a signature full of symbolism…

During his design studies in Italy, Samuel explored the country's most captivating corners, which led him to discover an iconic location, renowned for its vibrant commerce and the treasures it offered to those who strolled along its path. This street, called "La Via del Corso," left a profound impression on him. Today, that very name honors his creative vision, encapsulating the experiences, designs, and essence that Samuel imagines and embodies with his own hands.

Thus was born Corso, her most personal project, an abstraction of her name and her creative soul. It was then that she began to delve into the world of jewelry, initially creating exclusive designs for men. Given the positive response and growing demand from both genders, she decided to expand her offerings and design pieces for women as well.

Corso took an important step into the world of retail by opening its first physical store in Guadalajara, Jalisco. This moment marked the beginning of a journey that would lead the company to consolidate its position with more than 300 employees and 18 stores throughout Mexico.

As with each of his jewelry creations, Samuel has managed to merge his expertise in both disciplines by personally overseeing the entire design of each store. From the lighting to the furniture that displays the pieces, Corso stores are distinguished by being conceived with the same creative vision that inspires his jewelry collections, creating a unique and harmonious experience for visitors. With the opening of each new store, the first Corso editorial campaign was launched, marking a shift toward a more sophisticated and formal fashion offering. Since then, the brand's vision has transformed its presence in the jewelry and fashion industries, presenting timeless pieces that distinctively adapt to diverse personalities and styles.

La evolución

(the evolution)

As the brand evolved, gained recognition, and expanded, the design of its pieces shifted toward fine jewelry, debuting with a solid gold collection adorned with precious gems sourced from around the world. The market response was extremely positive, allowing the collections and designs to continue expanding.

Today, Corso showcases a creative universe of collections that transcend time. Among the most exclusive and notable pieces are "Shipwreck," a unique collection composed of coins salvaged from ancient sunken ships, and "Heritage," a tribute to millennia of meaning. Both collections, crafted with ancient coins, not only offer exceptional historical value but have also become some of Samuel's favorite pieces.

Samuel's vision has always been to make the world appreciate Mexican craftsmanship and the country's natural materials. Thanks to this philosophy, Corso has successfully positioned itself in the United States and Europe, consolidating itself as an international brand. With the goal of leading the jewelry market in Latin America and expanding globally, Corso manufactures 100% of its products in three specialized workshops: metal casting, leather tanning, and carpentry, ensuring complete control over quality and design.

“As a group and a family, our vision is clear: to differentiate ourselves and leave our mark on everything we do. We invite everyone to get involved and contribute their ideas to improve and grow together. My door is always open to discuss any topic or area of opportunity you identify.”

El futuro

(The Future)

Corso's journey continues, crossing borders and seas to bring its essence to some of the most vibrant destinations on the planet. Corso's expansion will begin in Roatán, Honduras, and will expand to strategic destinations in different regions. In the United States, the brand will open on St. Monica Blvd in Los Angeles, the Garment District in New York, and the Miami Design District in Florida. In South America, it will have a presence at the Costanera Center and Alonso de Córdoba in Santiago, Chile, as well as at Galeão International Airport in São Paulo, Brazil. Taino Bay in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, will also be added to the Caribbean.

Each destination reflects the vision and collective effort that drive Corso to transcend borders. What are projects and coordinates today will tomorrow be living spaces where the world can encounter the brand's history, design, and unmistakable essence.

A goal that we have very clear as a team and company is that we want Mexican design to endure and be recognized globally.
