CHEDRON LIKE PRECIOUS STONE

It is a sedimentary stone, chalcedony, a microcrystalline quartz. It is an impure and opaque variety of silica, usually red, yellow, brown or green and sometimes blue.

The red color is due to iron inclusions and is the most common. It is used as ornamentation or as a precious jewel in jewelry.

Chedron has been used to aid in astral travel, bringing protection to the traveler. It is also used as a protector in magic and as a talisman.
