Obverse: Depicts the laureate head of Poseidon facing right.

Reverse: Shows Nike (the goddess of victory) standing and facing left, holding a wreath in one hand and a trident in the other, with the Greek inscription BOIΩTΩN (meaning “of the Boeotians”) in the left field, often accompanied by a monogram or a Boeotian shield.

Legend: The coin describes a

silver drachma from the Hellenistic period, minted by the Boeotian Federal League (whose main city was Thebes), dating approximately from 225–171 B.C.
